Cool Dude

I can't believe that Peyton is almost a year old! Wow! The last couple of months have seen a lot of changes. He's now running around, understanding a lot more, and starting to say a few words. Patrick and I have deciphered "ma ma ma", "da da da", of course, in addition to some forms of "clock" and "bye". He likes to imitate whatever noises you make so he likes to blow raspberries and make monkey noises too. If you ask him where someone is, like "mommy" or "daddy" or "Nellie", he usually points in the right direction. He's starting to have opinions about what he wants to play with and we have discovered that he doesn't like to be told "no" when he wants to do such things as climb in the dishwasher or eat Nellie's food. Too bad.

I haven't posted pictures in awhile, so there's a bunch to look at. His friend Amelia has come over to play a couple of times, and they took a trip to the museam together. There are also some pictures of his visit from Lollie and Pops, as well as a bunch just hanging around the house.
