It's a.....

BOY!!!!

We had our ultrasound today and the baby curled into a ball with his feet near his head so that we could get a clear shot of his area, leaving us without a doubt as to what he was. I don't think we needed the ultrasound tech to tell us what it was - it was pretty obvious. So he certainly showed us his stuff in all his glory!

We're pretty sure we have the name picked out, but we're going to keep it a secret until he's born! (Something has to be surprise!)

I've posted three pictures below. In the first one, you can see a good outline of its head. In the next one, you can see his body curled and his feet above his head. Then the tech took a picture between his legs, and there it is! (You can click on the picture for a larger view)

Otherwise, they said everything else looked really good. We could see the heart beating and the tech pointed out other organs as she took measurements of everything. He looks to be pretty healthy!

Congrats!!!! He's not only adorable but, oh, so modest. I love all babies but have a definite soft spot for baby boys - they just seem so easy going compared to girls. I can't wait to meet him and hold him.

My grandson isn't born yet and he already has lewd pictures of himself on the internet.

He's absolutely adorable! And good thing he's not camera shy with the families he's being born into. I'm so excited and I love him already.

Congratulations!!! This is such an exciting time for you both. I definitely have a soft spot for boys-even though there is so much more neat things to buy for little girls... Can't wait to see him.

Hmmm...is the world ready for another little Patrick? :) Ha! Congratulations. But I'm sorry guys...those ultrasound photos mystify me! The first one, ok, that looks like a baby. The rest just look like outer space photos. :) What can I say, I'm a baby novice.

We are so excited for you both! Congrats on the baby boy! Aren't ultrasounds the most amazing experience? Seeing the little peanut kick and squirm really makes it real. You two are going to have a blast with a boy. I can see all the LSU and UNC baby gear now. BTW Jessica- You look too cute pregnant.

Ok, here we go! I am finally leaving a comment.
So this is going to be my attempt to rally the troops....don't all of you think that Jess should tell me the baby's name? I mean I am the cool aunt and I just want to make sure that he has a cool name.
On a serious note, it was very exciting to find out ya'll are having a boy. I can't wait to meet the little guy. Keep posting pictures.

Boy oh Boy! The stories that I could tell! But LuLu didn't warn me, so why should I give you the advantage! Honestly, we are so happy for you both. Needless to say, Adam is thrilled to be adding more testosterone to the family mix. He and Chase were really beginning to feel outnumbered! I can just see Patrick as Cub Scout leaders to a bunch of mini "Nature Boys"! Be afraid, be very afraid!

We love you all and can't wait to see you for Christmas.

Love,
Geaux Tigers,
Aunt Sandy
