Conversations with people about our son often go like this:
Person: "Oh! What a beautiful little boy!"
Us: "Why, thank you very much! We realize that we are biased, but we think he's pretty cute!"
Person: "Would you look at those beautiful blue eyes and blond hair - where did he get those from?"
Us: "Yes, we think its quite remarkable that he has blue eyes and blond hair."
Person: "Well, are you sure he's yours?" (This is usually directed to Patrick)
Us: "How could anything that cute not be ours?!"
While we are certain that Peyton is 100% Ragas and Harrell, the jury is still out about who he looks like.

People can be so rude!!! We got the same comments with Greg. He had blond hair and still has blue eyes. Of course, Sid and I don't have either. I always told the rude people that the angels sent his hair and eyes in answer to my prayers. When I was in a better mood, I explained that his hair and eye color came from his maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather.

I think Peyton looks just like Jessica - sometimes. I think Peyton looks just like Patrick - sometimes. Maybe it's a certain gesture or look that reminds me of one of his parents but most of the time I think Peyton looks just like Peyton! Give him a big hug for me.

Boy it is hard to tell who he looks like other than I think he is a perfect blend of both of you! Whatever anyone says he is absolutely beautiful. Hope things have settled down again after all the travels, but can't wait to see you all again.

One moment he's got that trait, the next he's moved on in the gene pool to pick up something else with just a little reminder of someone who used to do that...it's your beautiful baby boy with God's hand touching him and distributing all the good from parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and letting him be his own little guy. His own little walking and standing up little guy!!!!!
